In a small plaza, highlights this restaurant with their homey service and abundance of delicious dishes. It was my first time trying aguachiles and they set a high bar for everyone else. All their dishes were well made and we were given extra salsas with tortilla chips as starters. I definitely wanted to order more but their plates were humongous. Give it a try!

We're back! A very well put together restaurant. Very cute. We ordered the 4 taco combo with a shrimp, a pablano queso, a fried potato and I can't remember the fourth one. It is served with rice and beans a continues to satisfy my craving for really tasty Mexican food. Hubby ordered the carne asada burrito, also yummy and keeps us coming back. Of course we must have the guacamole to complement the fresh chips and mouth watering salsas.

I haven't been feeling well and was craving caldo de pollo - I'm Mexican and it's really hard to find authentic Mexican food restaurants but my husband and I really loved the food here. I got my caldo and he got the mole poblano enchiladas which were also yummy. The waitress was very sweet and provided great service. The place is also very clean and nice and they had nice Spanish music playing in the background. Will definitely be back when I don't have a family member cooking for me lol.

Found this quick little place on yelp. Here at a convention at a local hotel and we stumbled in. The service was great and the food was even better. I highly recommend you guys get the enchiladas. The servings are large and tasty. Also the music transforms you! Lovely place! Would stop by again!

I stopped by after seeing an IG post about their chile relleno. Walking in, I was surprised by how spacious the place was--it was packed, so we ended up sitting in the bar area, which was perfect for catching up over drinks with friends. I originally came for the chile relleno, but unfortunately, they were sold out (insert broken heart here). Instead, we went with the red chilaquiles and enfrijoladas. The red sauce on the chilaquiles was packed with flavor and had a nice kick without being too spicy. The rice was absolute perfection--light and fluffy. The only downside to my enfrijoladas was that the tortilla was cold, but the overall flavor was spot on. The customer service was excellent, and I felt right at home. I'll definitely be back for that chile relleno!

Wonderful service and authentic Mexican food. I enjoyed a cafe de olla after having a Menudo. Small restaurant where you may have to wait for a table but worth the wait. Parking was the only negative because I had to wait for one to be available

We made a catering order from Xochipili for a DIY Taco Party a day in advance. The order was easy to place for a party of 10 adults and 5 children. 50 taco tray (grilled chicken, beef asada, pork al pastor), comes with cilantro, onion, green salsa, and red hot salsa quesabirria 2 cheese quesadilla 2 churro orders rice & beans a la cart = all under $300 We had ordered to be ready by 3:30 pm but food wasn't ready until closer to 4:00 pm, not too long of a wait but something to consider when you have a party. Luckily we planned to pick up before the party started for this allowance. Food was really good and delicious but wish they had a whole catering menu available to make future orders more transparent. We host a lot for company/holiday/school functions and we're always on the look out for catering menus pdf to have on file.

After checking in at this business on Yelp, I took photos of the nice, clean, chill dining room, my vegetarian burrito, and my Dad's 3 tacos so I could leave a review. We were happily and warmly served by the owner. I enjoyed my burrito and I told the owner that I like judging restaurants on how good their vegetarian options are, and his was worth repeating. UNFORTUNATELY-- my Dad made a mistake a day or two later, and he thought he was overcharged. I calculated an unauthorized 25% tip and accused this business of fraud on Yelp and Google and left 1-star reviews. This business graciously responded and thoughtfully pointed out that the bill was in my dining room photo. Upon review of my own photo, it looks like my Dad did actually write down what he was charged. I guess my Dad is getting old. My Dad and I both know how difficult it is to run a small business, but we can only imagine how difficult it must be to run a restaurant. I regret being another unfair frustration for a small business owner. For me, the whole point of taking photos and leaving reviews for any restaurants I visit is to SUPPORT GOOD BUSINESS AND ESTABLISHMENTS--not to mistakenly smear them. I APOLOGIZE TO THIS BUSINESS AND ITS OWNER FOR OUR ERROR AND MISTAKEN REVIEW. My previous review has been deleted. This 5-star review replaces the mistaken review. And I'm bringing friends to this business whenever I get a chance. 5-Stars. Thank you.

No question, NO OTHER MEXICAN RESTAURANT OFFERS THESE AUTHENTIC DISHES. five stars for the chile en nogada!! It was insanely good delectable and generous. I ordered tacos de canasta to try from there and holy moley they were just like the best in mexico. I also ordered a raja and queso taco and a taco dorado (the original crunchy) and a tall glass of agua de espinaca con Piña. Spinach and pineapple water. Not juice. So, five stars aren't enough! this cute place is all the way in van nuys, easy parking.
